From first note to finished book.

You won’t be revising alone. We’ll sit with the messy places, pull apart what isn’t working, and find the story underneath. You’ll have room to ask questions, try things, change your mind, and bring the next version back to the table. I’ll bring a clear editorial eye and practical direction, but the book stays yours. You’ll always know where we are, what comes next, and why.

Every project is different, but here's the path most books take through the studio.

   Inquiry

   You request a Discovery Session and fill out the short questionnaire. I reply within a few working days.

2. 02

   Sample Review

   I read the pages you submitted, considering what level of editing your manuscript may need and whether I'd be a good fit for you. I like to make decisions based on the manuscript itself, not just vibes.

3. 03

   Discovery Session

   We have a relaxed conversation—about thirty to forty-five minutes, free of charge—to discuss your manuscript, your goals for it, and whether we're the right fit.

4. 04

   Proposal

   If we're both ready to move forward, I'll send a written proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, deliverables, and fee. No pressure, just clarity.

5. 05

   Editorial Work

   This is where the real work begins. Whether your manuscript needs developmental guidance, line editing, copyediting, formatting, or a combination, we'll move through each stage thoughtfully, with clear communication and agreed milestones.

6. 06

   Production

   Once the manuscript is ready, I'll prepare the finished files for print, ebook, or both—making sure everything is built to professional publishing standards.

7. 07

   Proof & Publish

   We'll review the printed proof together, make any final corrections, and confirm everything is ready before publication. My goal is to help you release a book you're proud to share with the world.
